Aldar Properties has increased its ownership in Aldar Estates to 82.55% following the acquisition of a 17.45% indirect stake from Modon Holding. Over the past two years, Aldar Estates has grown its managed portfolio significantly -- now overseeing more than 155,000 residential units (a 15% increase) and over two million sqm of prime retail and commercial space (doubled in the same period). The business currently handles over AED 3 billion worth of active contracts, and Aldar believes the expanded stake will strengthen its recurring-income strategy and accelerate growth in its real-estate-services platform.
